Man Dies Days After Car Accident

A 20-year-old man died from injuries suffered in a car accident that occurred over a week ago.

According to a release, he died at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton on Sunday. Officials are still investigating the accident.


The man, driver of a 1999 Ford Ranger was traveling northbound on Ohio 49 when he veered to the left side of the road hitting a ditch and driving through a yard. His truck struck a tree and then struck another tree head-on. He was trapped inside his vehicle while crews worked to free him.

He was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where he remained until he died.
