A recent study named Allstate as the worst insurance company in America. It attributes Allstate's worst of the worst status to their shareholder over policyholder attitude. Other insurance companies topping the list are Unum, AIG, and State Farm. All of the companies are known for denying claims, delaying payment, and generally making things difficult for those making claims.

I am a private investigator in Texas and have a side business of marketing for chiropractors and was interested in reading your article. You are exactly right that Allstate is the worst insurance company. They work on intimidation and bullying by trying to make examples of doctors in Texas and scaring the rest from making claims. Just wanted to respond.
