A 23-year-old Cincinnati woman fell to her death this week and police are attributing the fall to failed harnesses.

Keri Shryock was performing in a Christmas play when she fell about 20 feet onto a concrete floor of the auditorium. She was performing an aerial acrobatics routine on the opening night of the production, when she suddenly plummeted from a rope into an aisle.

She was taken to the emergency room, where she later died.
